    Core Responsibilities

    Our NOC team operate to participate fully in the fault management of calls into the NOC for all customers supported by Magdalene.  Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Provide regular updates to external customers on the progress of faults
    • Prioritise each fault to meet SLA’s including resource management of external contractors
    • Meet customer’s SLAs within contracted timescales
    • Provide support to the Shift Managers in the acceptance and roll out of new contracts into the NOC
    • Controlling and directing our field engineers and spares deliveries
    • Tasking and tracking the work of Technical Support Services
    • Co-ordinating any planned engineering works
    • Ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed
    • Provide ad hoc reports as required to senior colleagues
    • Ensure field engineers complete outstanding fault reports
    • Maintain internal reports following engineer visits
    • Arrange and coordinate access for suppliers providing services
    • Flexible shifts to cover holidays and sickness


    • Recent shift work for 12 hour shifts incorporating nights, weekends and public holidays
    • Operational call centre experience, dealing with both customers and internal staff

    Personal Attributes

    • Excellent spoken communications skills are essential
    • Computer literate
    • Highly proficient in MS Office specifically; Excel and Outlook
    • Outstanding organisational skills
    • Track record of working to strict deadlines
